We are a lodge that meets four times a year in London at Grand Lodge Freemasons Hall in Great Queen Street.

Why join

Freemasonry is about sharing a common desire for charitable support and following a high moral code. It is a male-only society, focused on following the three core principles and improving oneself and others. Our society is open to men of any race, religion, political belief and status.

One of the most common misconceptions about Freemasonry – and there are many of them – is that you have to be invited to join. There is absolutely no reason why you should not ask to join – in fact that is the correct procedure.

Lodge Meeting Dates

The Shepherds Bush Lodge of Freemasons, N^o 1828 regular meetings are held in Freemasons Hall, Gt Queen St in the Second Thursday in January,First Wednesday in March,
First Wednesday in June (Installation) and Second Wednesday in October.

A generous grant of £8,000 from London Freemasons will enable Only A Pavement Away to support more individuals in London who are experiencing homelessness move into roles in the hospitality industry. This grant will enable the charity to place 110 candidates into employment and create over 1,000 learning and career development opportunities.

London Freemasons’ Charity has awarded a £10,000 grant to London-based charity Steel Warriors to support a Summer 2026 project delivering free calisthenics classes for young people across the capital.

London’s At-Risk Youth Served up Hospitality Training at The Clink Training Cafe

The Clink Training Café is the charity’s first dedicated hospitality training facility designed exclusively for young people aged 16–25 who could be at risk of entering the criminal justice system. It is an initiative intended to give students direction and purpose, whilst also strengthening community resilience in South London.
